1. This agreement

These terms apply when you use creatricity.io or buy anything from Creatricity, a company registered in Delaware, United States (“Creatricity”, “we” or “us”). By using the site or making a purchase, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

2. Who can use Creatricity

You must be at least 18 to join or buy from us. You agree to give us accurate information and to keep it up to date. Your membership is personal to you and can’t be shared or transferred.

3. What we offer

  • Builder Circle: a monthly membership that includes live rooms, The Room members area, introductions made by us, the opportunity board and session replays.
  • The Next Door: a one time introduction service.
  • Strategic Spark: a one to one session.
  • Build What Only You Can: an ebook available for pre-order.

The price you pay is the one shown on our site when you buy. We may change prices for future purchases, but a price change never alters a Builder Circle rate you have already locked in, as described in section 4.

4. Builder Circle membership

Billing

Builder Circle is billed monthly through Stripe to the payment method you give us, and renews automatically each month until you cancel.

Your locked rate

The monthly rate you join on stays yours for as long as your membership continues without a break. If you cancel and later rejoin, you rejoin at whatever rate is current at that time.

If we decide it isn’t the right fit

We review every membership. If we decide the Circle isn’t the right fit for you right now, we’ll tell you and refund your payment in full.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time by emailing connect@creatricity.io, or by using the Cancel link in The Room. We’ll confirm your cancellation by email.

To avoid being charged again, your cancellation needs to reach us before your next billing date. You’ll keep access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for, and your membership ends then. If your request reaches us on or after your billing date, that payment stands and your membership ends at the end of that period instead.

You can see your next billing date at any time on your billing page, using the See my plan and receipts button in The Room.

We may ask you what changed, because it helps us improve the Circle. Your cancellation goes through either way.

Upgrading and downgrading

Email us to move between membership tiers. Upgrades are prorated, so you aren’t charged twice for the same period. Downgrades take effect from your next billing date.

Refunds

Apart from the fit refund above, we don’t refund months that have already been charged, and we don’t give partial refunds for part of a month. This doesn’t affect any rights described in section 16.

5. The Next Door and Strategic Spark

  • Rescheduling: you can reschedule at no cost if you tell us at least 24 hours before your session.
  • Late notice or a missed session: if you give less than 24 hours’ notice, or don’t attend, the full fee is kept.
  • Once it has started: once a session has begun, or we have started work on your introductions, it can’t be cancelled or refunded.

6. The book pre-order

Build What Only You Can is an ebook, available on Kindle and as an ebook. Pre-orders are non-refundable. If we are unable to deliver the book to you, we’ll refund your pre-order in full. This doesn’t affect any rights described in section 16.

7. Live rooms and recordings

Builder Circle live rooms are recorded. Recordings are shared with members only, inside The Room. By joining a live room, you agree to being recorded.

If you’d prefer not to appear, you’re welcome to keep your camera off, use your first name only, or tell us before the session starts.

Please don’t record, screenshot or share live rooms, recordings or other members’ contributions anywhere outside the Circle.

8. Your profile and what you share

You own what you share with us. By sharing it, you give us permission to show it to other members in The Room and to use it to make introductions for you. You can ask us to remove your profile at any time, and we’ll take it down within 7 days.

Only share things you have the right to share, and nothing unlawful, misleading or harmful.

What’s shared in the room stays in the room. Don’t use or pass on another member’s ideas, plans or personal information outside the Circle without their permission.

9. How members treat each other

The Circle only works if people feel safe asking for help. So please don’t:

  • harass, threaten or discriminate against anyone
  • send members unsolicited sales pitches, spam or bulk messages
  • share the passcode or let anyone else into The Room
  • copy or collect other members’ information
  • misrepresent who you are or what you offer

We may remove anyone who does. If we remove you for a serious breach, we won’t refund your membership.

10. Introductions and results

We make introductions in good faith and with care. But we can’t promise that any introduction will happen or lead anywhere, and we don’t guarantee any particular result, including clients, work, partnerships, funding or income.

Opportunities on the board come from partners and members, not from us. Check them yourself before you act on them. We aren’t a party to any agreement you make with another member or with someone we introduce you to.

Nothing we share is legal, financial, tax or investment advice.

11. Our content

Our site, the book, our frameworks, templates, workshops and recordings belong to Creatricity or the people who licensed them to us. You’re welcome to use them for your own work. Please don’t copy, resell or republish them without our written permission.

12. The Room passcode

The passcode is for members only. Please keep it to yourself. We may change it at any time and will send current members the new one.

13. Other companies’ services

We use other companies to run parts of Creatricity, including Stripe for payments and Zoom for live rooms. When you use their services you may also be bound by their terms.

14. Disclaimers

We work hard to keep the site accurate and available, but it’s provided as it is. We don’t promise it will always be uninterrupted, error free or available.

15. Limits on our liability

As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, business or opportunity. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t legally be limited, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

16. Your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the consumer protection laws of the place where you live. Where those laws give you more protection than these terms, those laws apply.

For example, if you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may have a legal right to cancel some purchases within 14 days, regardless of what these terms say.

17. Ending your access

You can stop using Creatricity at any time, following the cancellation rules in section 4. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

18. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Delaware, except where the consumer laws of the place where you live give you the right to bring a claim there.

19. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top, and we’ll tell members about significant changes by email before they take effect. A change to our terms never changes a Builder Circle rate you have already locked in.
